Sprint.

I activate team creativity in a rapid collaborative workshop (I appreciate you're all busy, me too!) with exercises that transform abstract, dispersed ideas and knowledge into tangible outputs helping define what you should really pay attention to. These outcomes form the source-code of your brand, delivering clarity and team unity so everyone can move forwards in unison.
02

Style.

It's a brand development process condensed into a single focused short workshop. Together we participate in exercises requiring intensive ideation, debate and decision making. You'll analyse ideas, refine feedback and decide on final outputs.  Yes, we'll use a lot of post it notes, dot stickers, sharpies and drink buckets of coffee.
03

Output.

This style of workshop is designed to deliver outcomes quickly. By condensing development work into a concentrated timeframe, the decision-making process is accelerated, partnered with alignment throughout the process.

It's a structured way to define your foundational brand attributes by bringing together decision-makers in a setting for creative thinking and discussions that clarify your purpose, audience, goals and position in the market.

Bringing together people in various roles enables teamwork, creativity, and collective problem-solving. We'll harness diverse perspectives and expertise and generate ideas and solutions that may not have emerged through siloed or softball approaches.

If your question isn't answered below, or you want to find out more, drop me an email.

What do we need to get going?

Drive, commitment, co-operation, team effort, and passionate belief in a common purpose. Loads of Post It's, sharpies, colour dots and a timer. I bring all the gear!

WHO do you work with?

I actively seek to work with companies driven to support communities and make earth a sustainable home for new generations.

How long does it take?

On the day it takes 4 hrs with a couple of tea breaks. There is a little prep work to do before the workshop but nothing that will take much of your time.

How does this work?

1) I'll ask you to do some preparation, you'll decide about roles for the group. Don't worry it's not a cringe training day vibe.

2) I'll guide you through exercises in person with your team, keeping you on track, on time and will steer everyone away from first system and lazy intuitive thinking.

3) I record the process and the outcomes and present your finished work back to you with executable recommendations on additional work to be done and next steps.

4) A month later we'll have a health check to measure what progress has been made and actions to be taken. I can also do more check-ins if required.

What is the investment?

The workshop is priced at £3299 GBP. A dynamic learning environment designed to harness collaborative power. Reserve your half day game changer by emailing me directly

Do you offer design and strategy services?

Ahhhh you're asking about my old life which I'm really grateful for but I can offer much greater value in this workshop facilitation. I do have the network to connect you to the the most effective people to continue your brand ambitions if that's what you need too.

Can you do this with a remote team?

Virtual workshops do offer convenience and flexibility but in my experience interpersonal sessions seriously maximise value and the impact of collaboration.

Dynamic Interaction: In-person workshops allow for dynamic interaction and real-time collaboration. We can engage in open discussions, divergent and convergent thinking and activities for creativity and innovation. The immediate feedback that emerges from face-to-face interaction often lead to punchy insights and breakthroughs.

Personalised Attention: Being physically present enables me to provide proper attention to the group. I can observe body language, gauge reactions, and tailor guidance much more effectively.

Hands-On Learning: Certain workshop activities, such as group exercises and interpersonal comms are much more effective conducted in person. They deepen understanding and leave a lasting impact on participants.

What do we do with the outputs of the workshop?

Brilliant question. That all depends on what your trigger is. You could use the results to guide a freelance team to create lean brand framework. Show an agency you're invested in business self awareness and would like to employ their creative expertise and experience to help you grow. You could build an in house design team. So many things, the session generates a lot of voltage!

Can you connect us to really good brand agencies?

I can. The best, in fact. Drop me a line

About me.

I started as a multi-disciplined designer, animator, coder designing and building websites, CD-Roms and interactive sound worlds in the early 2000s.

In 2004 I joined Randommedia working on cutting edge interactive digital campaigns for Playstation amongst other big brands and designed the first alpha of the iPlayer for the BBC.

I worked at "hot" ad and digi agencies in London over the next 5 years, won some accolades and started Nation in 2009.

Nation was a conceived to be a modern design and technology studio focused on challenging approaches and processes to design and development. We designed built and maintained many enterprise level products and created fun internal projects with an incredibly lean team. Nation closed in 2016.

After Nation I wanted to be "on the tools" again and freelanced for startups and agencies as a creative lead. One project gave me the opportunity to facilitate a brand sprint with a business who were starting from scratch. It was powerful, generated practical outputs, aligned the team, uncovered principles and formed the basis to start creating and move forwards quickly.

I really enjoy working with companies determined to make the world better and I can help in a small way by bringing people together to co-create a position for action.

Outside of work, high performance, cognitive stuff and behaviour change are fields I read about and and bring to my work. I have been reliably told I made London's best Roman-style pizza and I've built a replica TB-303 from scratch, oh and I like riding my heavily modded Royal Enfield.

I've helped people whose mission is saving the Earth for future generations, building sustainable practices and doing the world good.

"We needed to better communicate who we are, what we do, and why."
Through expert facilitation and engaging exercises, Odin helped the leadership team hone in on our core values and unify our vision. We emerged with shared language to articulate our purpose and the foundations for refining the next stage of positioning and brand development. The workshop was fun and sparked some needed, healthy debates! Highly recommend!

"Odin used tested methodology to extract gold from our team"
Inside agencies, objectivity is a challenge. Odin tackled this by extracting invaluable insights, overcoming hurdles like senior voices dominating. With tight studio schedules, internal rebrands often take a backseat. Odin's approach swiftly captured our agency's essence, laying the groundwork for our values and positioning. In just a day, we covered substantial ground, igniting a people-centric future for THEM. The work we did together really engaged the team and kickstarted a new people and future-focused phase for THEM as an agency.
